Being anxious isn’t harmful, we all experience anxiety at some point in our lives. Getting over it and not letting it interfere with our daily routine and mood should be under our control.
When our anxiety gets a grip over us, it gives birth to feelings like fear and doubt. These very fears and doubts are known to be responsible for killing more dreams than failure ever can. Fear of failure arises only when one fixates over the end result and not over the journey towards success.
But why fear failure?
Failure is success in progress. – A. Einstein.
I haven’t failed, I have just found 10,000 ways that don’t work. – Thomas Edison.
This is what two of the greatest minds in history thought about failure! If they didn’t fear it, why should we?
To get your inner confidence shining brightly, I have brought you a mantra this Monday!
“Inhale confidence, exhale doubt!”
Simple, isn’t it? Say it to yourself today! Repeat it while you breathe to give you the confidence to do whatever you set your mind to! Remember that doubt will stop you every time you decide to take an action. Exhale and let it go.
Inhale confidence and do whatever it takes to achieve your task at hand. Believe that you can do it! Divide your work or activity into small, simpler and doable tasks and tackle each one of them, step by step. This practice will help you understand and complete any task in a better way. Writing down relevant points will also help you remember stuff better and let you think in an organized way. Try it, it works!
